This beautiful Antique late Victorian locket and collar has been fashioned in Silver. The locket features wonderful foliate engravings on the front and back with a blank shield haloed with Ivy leaves.
Ivy represents an unbreakable bond, such as friendship or marriage, as in the Victorian rhyme 'Close clings the ivy to the tree, so in my heart I cling to thee.'
The locket is complete with two glass windows and rims with memories of a previous owner in the form of a photograph and a lock of hair preserved behind.
It’s accompanied by a strong cable link collar with a secure ring clasp at the end which displays it beautifully around the neck.
