📖 This Quartz Crystal is a special type called “Double Terminated” because they have a termination or crystal “Point” on both ends. Interested to know how this happened?

🤓 As they were often growing in a cluster, the geologic conditions would change as the ground shifted. They would break free from the cluster and were suspended in a liquid solution of water and silica under extreme heat and pressure. The end of the crystal which had broken off then began to regrow and crystallize. Interesting huh?
